Elizabeth worked in the lab from 2003 to 2010. After spending a year in Costa Rica with her family, she is currently in the lab of Dr. Griendling at Emory University in Atlanta which studies the NOX class of enzymes as they relate to the progression of cardiovascular disease. Elizabeth's current work focuses on elucidating binding partners of a key protein that interacts with NOX4 in vitro, using aortic smooth muscle cells.
