The lab congratulates Dr. Kathleen Chirco (center), who was hooded at The University of Iowa Graduate College Commencement on May 12th, 2017. The hooding was performed by Dr. Robert Mullins (right) and assisted by Dr. Daniel Tranel, Associate Dean in the Carver College of Medicine (left). Katie received her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology with the dissertation, "Mechanisms of Pathophysiology and Methods for Regeneration of the Choriocapillaris in Age-Related Macular Degeneration."
