Lauryn Renze is a medical student in the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa that assists with human donor tissue collection and dissection.

She graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ethics & Public Policy with a minor in Chemistry.

Lauryn has been a member of the laboratory since August 2021.

As an undergraduate student she was responsible for general lab cleaning, inventory management, human donor tissue collection, dissection, cryosectioning, histological staining, and ImageJ analysis.

In the 2023 Spring semester, Lauryn was recognized as the University of Iowa Student Employee of the Year in the Science, Health, & Engineering employment category.
